Roundup: RiverDogs' 11-run 7th buries Power
The West Virginia Power lost 12-5 to the visiting Charleston RiverDogs on Wednesday thanks to an 11-run seventh inning that featured three West Virginia pitchers.
The Power (1-6) committed four errors in the inning. David Jagoditsh took the loss after giving up five runs in the seventh. Josh Bell hit his first home run of the season for the Power, a three-run shot in the third inning. Charleston's Alex Smith threw two scoreless innings to get the win.
West Virginia now hits the road for seven games, starting today at Asheville.

WVU BASEBALL West Virginia snapped its three-game losing streak with a 5-1 win against Youngstown State Wednesday at Hawley Field in Morgantown.
WVU shortstop Taylor Munden finished a single short of hitting for the cycle and accounted for two runs and two RBIs. Freshman pitcher Brock Dykxhoorn earned his second win of the season, allowing one run on three hits in six innings.
WVU (18-16) hosts Liberty for a three-game series starting Friday.
