RiverDogs top Power 4-1

CHARLESTON, S.C. - West Virginia gave up two runs in the sixth inning and another in the seventh to give away an early lead and crop a 4-2 decision to the Charleston RiverDogs Tuesday.

For the Power (8-11), recent addition Barrett Barnes had two hits and scored a run while Dilson Herrera had a triple and two RBIs. Lance Breedlove (1-2) took the loss after allowing two runs on four hits.

Charleston's Jake Cave went 2 for 5 with a double and two RBIs while Gabriel Encinas (3-0) gave up four hits and two unearned runs in six innings to get the win.

The Power and RiverDogs resume their three-game series at 11:05 a.m. today.
