WVC GOLF: Wheeling Jesuit's Kasey Frazier turned in a 6-over 78 and was in 14th place Friday in the second round of the NCAA Division II women's national golf championship in Daytona Beach, Fla. The final round is set for today.

YOUTH SOCCER: Fifty teams will compete in 16 different events at the West Virginia Soccer Association state championships this weekend at the YMCA Soccer Complex in Beckley.
The state champions in boys and girls under-12 through under-19 will advance to the United States Youth Soccer Region I Championships in Kingston, R.I. June 27-July 2. Semifinal games will be held today with the championship games scheduled for Sunday.
