Roundup: Capital's Wright named lacrosse All-American

Capital senior Joe Wright and University High's Alex Battin lacrosse players have been selected as high school All-Americans, and George Washington midfielder Cole Salmons was selected as an academic All-American.

Wright and Capital teammate C.J. Harvey were also named to the all-state first team by the West Virginia Scholastic Lacrosse Association. GW's Jack Bunn was named to the second team, and 10 Kanawha Valley athletes earned all-state honorable mention - Capital's Mason Jack, Chris Huffman and Jack Dulin; GW's Salmons, Jordan Brack and Trevor Wooten; Herbert Hoover's Josh Coleman and Mike Facemire; and Hurricane's Tyler Sovine and Josh Ellis. Capital High assistant coach John Dulin was named WVSLA Man of the Year for his contributions to the lacrosse community. Dulin has also devoted time to the YMCA Charleston's lacrosse program.
