Four-run 4th leads Hagerstown past Power 6-2

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Hagerstown Suns scored four runs in the fourth inning and downed the West Virginia Power 6-2 Monday at Municipal Stadium.

Shawn Pleffner went 4 for 5 with a pair of doubles for Hagerstown (45-34) and Stephen Perez had three hits and two RBIs. Nick Lee (2-2) earned the win while Derek Self picked up his first save of the season.

Josh Bell managed a pair of doubles for the Power (45-37). John Kuchno (3-4) was tabbed with the loss, allowing five runs (four earned) on 11 hits over six innings while walking two and striking out one.

West Virginia will continue the three-game series with Hagerstown at 7:05 tonight.
