MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Sophomore defensive lineman Korey Harris, a former member of the West Virginia football team, was arrested Friday on first-degree armed robbery charges, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Harris was suspended for the spring semester in April and was not a current member of the team. His bio was pulled from the roster on WVU's website Friday.
He and two others allegedly held two people at gunpoint and burglarized a home in Morgantown on July 12. A victim said Harris was wearing his football-issued sweatpants bearing the No. 96 (his jersey number).
Harris had four tackles and played in 11 games as a freshman last year.
