Power back in town for homestand

The first-place West Virginia Power returns home to Appalachian Power Park tonight to begin a seven-game South Atlantic League homestand.

The Power, 32-17 in the season's second half, starts a three-game series against the Greensboro Bats at 7:05 tonight, to be followed by a four-game set with the Hickory Crawdads.

The Power starts the week 21/2 games ahead of Hagerstown (30-20) in the Northern Division standings in its search for a playoff berth. Hagerstown won the division's first-half title.
