Poca man wins Week 2 of football contest
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Bob Boggs of Poca is the winner of the Gazette Gridiron Gold Mine contest for Week 2.
Boggs' entry was one of two that predicted 14 out of 15 games correctly. His prediction of 44 points scored in the tiebreaker game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers was the closer of the two to the actual point total of 62.
For winning, Boggs will receive $75 and is entered in the season-ending Gold Mine championship.
