Savannah Miller and Autumn Griggs had one goal apiece as Nitro improved to 2-4 with a 2-1 girls soccer win at Capital Tuesday.
Ally Reeves had the lone goal for Capital (4-4).
RIVERSIDE 8, CABELL MIDLAND 1: Three Riverside players scored multiple goals as the Warriors earned a home win. Erin Hendricks, Maddie McDermitt and Ashley Hancock each scored twice for Riverside (4-3) while Megan Buchko and Kaitlyn Murphy scored one goal apiece. Kayley Stevens netted the only goal for Cabell Midland.
SA 5, RIPLEY 1: Hannah Myers and Rachel Beck posted two goals apiece for St. Albans and Audrey Goode also found the back of the net for the Red Dragons (2-1-4). Molly Cunningham had the only goal for Ripley.
HURRICANE 6, PRINCETON 0: Audrey Barber paced the visiting Redskins by tallying two goals against Princeton. Kayla McKnight, Abby Watson, Brittany McWaters and Kayli Blackburn all added a goal apiece for Hurricane (5-0).
WINFIELD 2, WOODROW 0: Jayne and Mary Lawman scored a goal apiece for the visiting and undefeated Generals (9-0) to seal the win over Woodrow Wilson. Emily Lane had seven saves for the Flying Eagles.
SISSONVILLE 5, SPRING VALLEY 1: Kayla Rhodes scored two goals to lead the host Indians over Spring Valley. Madison Jones, Reagan Johnson and Carli Pinkerton all pitched in a goal apiece for Sissonville (8-0) and Chase Davis scored for the Timberwolves (4-2).
CROSS LANES 3, POINT 1: Abigail Jeffrey stopped seven shots as visiting Cross Lanes Christian (5-0) remained unbeaten. Goals for the Warriors were by Kaylee Witters, Abbigail Holbert and Taylor Mullins. For Point Pleasant, Ashtyn Wedge had the lone score.
WOODROW 3, WINFIELD 2: Corey Accord, Brandon Chandler and Jordan Wright all tallied goals to help Woodrow Wilson beat the host Generals. Austin Miller and Ronnie Beale scored for Winfield. The Flying Eagles (3-2-2) goalie Josh Moore picked up three saves, while Bryce Boggs recorded seven saves for the Generals (3-3-1).
