Madonna, St. Marys tied for Class A lead

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Madonna has tied St. Marys atop the Class A division of the state football playoff rankings. The Blue Devils had first all to themselves last week.

Rounding out the top five in single-A are Valley, Moorefield and Man (see lists, Page 2B). In AA, Wayne stays at the top, followed by Bluefield, Bridgeport, Summers County and Wyoming East. Sissonville stands seventh.

Huntington remains No. 1 in Class AAA, with Point Pleasant, Martinsburg, Capital and George Washington completing the first five. South Charleston is 11th.
