CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Shayna Gore had 25 points and eight assists, and Monica Mitchell added 20 points and 15 rebounds as host Logan broke a second-half tie for a 62-54 victory over Huntington.

The Wildcats (2-2) and the Highlanders (4-1) were tied at 34 after three periods. For Huntington (4-1), Mariah Harmon, Lexi Sheffield, Jordyn Dawson and Ericka Budd scored 10 points each.

  • CLAY 40, POCA 32: Andrea Litton tallied 11 points as Clay County edged home-standing Poca.
  • McKinzee Barker scored 10 points for the Panthers. Casey Skeens scored a game-high 16 points for the Dots (0-6) and Kendall Sayre netted 12.

  • WESTSIDE 53, SHELBY VALLEY 44: Hope Lester scored 24 points and pulled down 20 rebounds as Westside (3-0) won in the Belfry, Ky., Christmas Tournament.
  • GREEN. EAST 60, COVINGTON 49: Sydney Nunley turned in a triple-double with 12 points, 26 rebounds and 10 blocks for visiting Greenbrier East at the Covington (Va.) Holiday Tournament.
  • Chaunte McDowell netted 25 points for the Spartans (4-0), who take on Alleghany, Va., in the championship game today.

  • TEAYS VALLEY CHR. 34, OHIO VALLEY CHR. 22: Gabby Harrah scored 10 points as host Teays Valley Christian held off Ohio Valley Christian.
  • Rachel Kiser added nine points for Teays Valley (4-0). Emily Carman led Ohio Valley (3-6) with 12 points.

  • PIKEVIEW 78, SHADY SPRING 38: Madison May scored 16 points as host PikeView (5-1) routed Shady Spring.
  • Morgan Hylton scored 10  for the Tigers. n TYGARTS VALLEY 44, UNION 21: Emily Pingley scored nine points as visiting Tygarts Valley beat Union.

    Kelsey Arbogast added nine points for the Bulldogs (5-1). Colleena Burdock led the Tigers (3-2) with nine points.

  • SC 85, RIVERSIDE 38: Aaliyah Dunham's 20 points paced visiting South Charleston, with Taliah Cashwell adding 19 points and Lina Villanueva 17. Brittany Wood had 17 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks for the Warriors.
  • GILMER 58, ROANE 46: Julie Bishop had 20 points and Kylie Snuff 17 to pace visiting Gilmer County. For the Raiders, Cassidy Taylor scored 13, and Mary Kate Westfall 10.
