Parkersburg South jumped out to a commanding 47-8 lead and cruised past visiting Point Pleasant 110-23 in girls basketball Friday night.
The Patriots (8-0) had four players score double-figures, including Keya Bartlett (25), Lexie Moore (12), Amber Cottrell (11) and Anna Hayton (10). Cassandra Nibert led the Big Blacks (0-11) with six points.
SUMMERS 71, JAMES MONROE 55: Brittney Justice recorded a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds as host Summers County beat James Monroe. Whittney Justice led the Bobcats (7-0) with 19 points and Brandy Morrison scored 17. Carter Shiflet led the Mavericks (0-6) with 16 points and Lane Shiflet netted 12.
HUNTINGTON 72, RIPLEY 15: The Highlanders jumped out to a 26-6 lead after the opening quarter and never looked back. Ericka Budd netted 14 points for Huntington (7-1) while Lacy Johnson dropped in 13 and Jordyn Dawson had 12. Sarah Williams scored four points for the Vikings (3-6).
TOLSIA 56, WAYNE 45: Savannah Winnett scored 24 points to lead the visiting Rebels past the Pioneers. Jordan Presley chipped in 18 points for Tolsia (3-5). Taylor Bartam tallied 14 points for Wayne (0-9) and Kaitlyn Arnold had 12.

CLAY 57, ROANE 36: McKinzee Barker scored 24 points as visiting Clay County downed Roane County. Katelyn Horrocks added 12 points for the Panthers (7-2) and Isabelle Haverty donated 10. Cassidy Taylor notched 17 points for the Raiders (3-7) and Hannah Hardman had 10.
GREENBRIER EAST 67, BLUEFIELD 52: Rondell Watson had 19 points and eight assists and Obi Romeo added 14 points and 14 rebounds to pace host Greenbrier East (7-2). Tyler Canterbury scored 15 points and Josh Tunstalle 14 for the Spartans. The Beavers (5-1), defending Class AA champions, received 15 points from Michael Yost, 13 from Anthony Eades and 11 from Lykel Collier.
