Roundup: WVU women top Texas
The West Virginia women's basketball team rallied from eight points down with 3:30 to go and scored a 56-49 overtime win over Texas on Sunday in Morgantown.
The Mountaineers finished the game on a 16-1 run.
Averee Fields and Christal Caldwell each scored 12 points to lead the Mountaineers (14-2 overall, 3-1 Big 12).
TABLE TENNIS: The Charleston Table Tennis Club is hosting the Harry Sands Memorial Teams Table Tennis Tournament on Jan. 25 with play beginning at 10 a.m.
Each team must have three players with a fee of $60 per team. It is an unsactioned tournament and USATT ratings will not be generated or updated.

WVU TECH WRESTLING: WVU Tech finished second out of 11 teams at the Washington & Lee Invitational on Saturday afternoon with 125 points, falling just two points shy of winner St. Andrews Presbyterian.
Alfred Martinez won his second tournament of the year in the 133-pound division for the Golden Bears. Dirk Ponchak (165) and Tola Morakinyo (184) also won titles.
