Marshall's Hoskins invited to Senior Bowl

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall tight end Gator Hoskins has been invited to participate in the 2014 Senior Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.

Hoskins finished his senior season with 15 touchdown catches (fifth-most at Marshall for a single season), a total that ranked tied for third nationally and the most among tight ends by seven. The Florida native hauled in 28 touchdown receptions in his career, which ranks him third in Herd history behind Randy Moss (53) and Darius Watts (47).

This is Marshall's third Senior Bowl invitation in three years as Vinny Curry went to the 2012 game and Aaron Dobson played in it last year. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. and will be televised by the NFL Network.
