Prep roundup: After falling behind 27-19 at halftime, Poca outscored the host Chapmanville 34-16 in the second half and came away with a 53-43 come-from-behind boys basketball win Saturday.

Parkersburg South 48, Greenbrier East 39: Taryn McCutcheon turned in 12 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as the top-ranked Patriots took control early and won a battle of unbeaten Class AAA teams. For the No. 2 Spartans, Sydney Nunley had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Lexi Tincher scored 11 points.
Buffalo 59, Fayetteville 52: Buffalo led 50-31 after three quarters and cruised past Fayetteville at St. Marys. Chelsey Parkins led the Bison (8-4) with 13 points and Olivia Dunn added 10. For Fayetteville, Kendall Malay scored 17 points and Maddie Pritt had 14.
Teays Valley 67, Hannan 27: Holly Edwards posted 18 points and Gabby Harrah added 14 as Teays Valley Christian (6-6) won at home. Chelsea Meadows had eight points for Hannan.
Meadow Bridge 58, Valley 48: Caitlin White poured in 22 points as Meadow Bridge held off visiting Valley. Allison Reddon scored 14 points and Shaely Reddon contributed 11 for the Wildcats (10-2). Kelsey Bird led the Greyhounds (4-8) with a game-high 25 points and Abby Buchan scored 18.
Carolina Home School 53, Cross Lanes Christian 37: Leah Church tossed in 24 points as Carolina Home School cruised past Cross Lanes Christian in the final round of the Bob Jones Invitational. Aleksandreja Kulitus scored 17 points for Carolina (32-1). Laura Jones led Cross Lanes (14-3) with 14 points and 15 rebounds and Julianna Lowery chipped in 11 points.
Sissonville 57, Scott 49: Brittany Gould netted 20 points and Madison Jones added 16 for visiting Sissonville. (11-2). Ali Whitman paced Scott (9-3) with 16 points.
Hoover 85, Wayne 29: Hannah King recorded 20 points and 19 rebounds as Herbert Hoover earned a home victory. Stephany Romine chipped in 19 points for the Huskies (10-1). Emily Marsh netted 17 points for Wayne.
George Washington 62, Princeton 35: George Washington led 34-19 at halftime and cruised to a road win. Lilly Ash led the Patriots (6-6) with 15 points and Shionna Banks scored 14. Kaleigh Barker led the Tigers with 12 points.
Lincoln County 70, Ripley 60: Lindsey Prichard poured in 21 points as Lincoln County held off host Ripley. Taylor Adkins scored 15 points and Taylor Lucas chipped in 11 for the Panthers. Sarah Williams led the Vikings (3-9) with a game-high 30 points and Chelsey Hager scored 15.
Pocahontas County 65, Tygarts Valley 43: Tristin Day tossed in 22 points as Pocahontas County cruised to a home win. Bobbie McNabb scored 16 points and Melissa Murphy chipped in 15 points for the Warriors (10-4). Emily Pingley led the Bulldogs (8-4) with 12 points.
Friday's girls games
Wheeling Central 54, Charleston Catholic 52: Maria Olson hit 1 of 2 free throws and Wheeling Central came up with a defensive stop at the buzzer to hold off visiting Charleston Catholic in overtime. MacKenzie Michaels led the Knights (9-6) with 16 points and Regan Blaha scored 14. Vida Imani and Hannah Gallian each sank 16 points to lead the Irish (10-4).
Cross Lanes Christian 43, Bob Jones Academy 35: Laura Jones posted 13 points and 12 rebounds to help lift Cross Lanes Christian over Bob Jones Academy in the second round of the Bob Jones Invitational. Kathryn Legg recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds for Cross Lanes and Catherine Morris added four points and 12 rebounds.
