Brittany Wood recorded a triple-double with 28 points, 22 rebounds and 19 blocks as visiting Riverside snapped a 12-game losing streak with a 72-62 girls basketball win over Lincoln County Thursday.
Rachel Mills scored 23 points and Kara Knapp added 16 points for the Warriors (2-12). Taylor Lucas led the Panthers with 14 points.
Bailey Aab added 13 for the visiting Huskies (13-1), who trailed 28-21 in the opening half before using a 15-0 run to secure a 43-21 edge at the break. Sarah Massey scored 15 for Sherman (6-7) and Kendra Pannell had 12.
Hannah Bowser had nine points for Parkersburg Christian (8-7).
Taryn McCutcheon posted 23 points for the Patriots (15-0) and Keya Bartlett netted her 1,000th career point, finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sydney Holloway paced Morgantown (11-6) with 17 points.
Madison May led the Panthers (11-3) with 15 points and Lauryn Hatfield added 13. Whittney Justice led the Bobcats with 13 points.
Sydney Nunley tallied 11 points and 15 rebounds and Elizabeth Romeo scored 17 for the Spartans (14-1). Morgan Hilton led the Tigers (7-11) with 21 points and Abigail Gwinn added 14 points and 16 rebounds.
Maddy Weeks netted 13 points for the Skyhawks (11-4). Kristen DesRocher led the Tigers (11-6) with a game-high 26 points.
