Carrington Morris tossed in 23 points as Capital cruised past visiting Parkersburg 77-62 Saturday in boys high school basketball.
Jordan Kinney and Miguel Bays each netted 12 points for the Cougars (9-3). Jordan Colebank led the Big Reds (7-7) with 21 points.
St. Albans 59, Nitro 45: Jeffrey Seams erupted for 24 points as St. Albans (3-11) earned a home victory. Ian Lee paced Nitro with 15 points.
Scott 74, Herbert Hoover 55: Brandon Lafauci tallied 16 points to lead four players in double-figure scoring Saturday afternoon as host Scott won its fourth straight. Also for the Skyhawks (10-5), Anthony Sigmon and Logan Webb each had 12 points, Kirk Price scored 11 and Cody Brown handed out a dozen assists. For the Huskies (4-13), playing their third game in three days, Tommy Parrish scored 17 points, Matt Justice had 16 and Noah Toops 14.
Clay-Battelle 65, Buffalo 46: Zach Chisler netted 18 points as Clay-Battelle (11-5) recorded a home win. Laythen Good scored a game-high 21 points for Buffalo (9-6).
