Taliah Cashwell's 19 points pushed visiting South Charleston to a 55-47 win over Capital in girls high school basketball Monday.
Aaliyah Dunham and Aryuanna Mosley had 11 apiece for the Class AAA No. 7 Black Eagles (16-3).
Alex Gray led all scorers with 20 points for the Cougars (7-12), followed by India Hairston with 12 and Dashia Foster with 11.
Scott 65, Hoover 49: Class AA No. 7 Scott started on a 17-8 run and cruised on the road. Landyn McKinney led the Skyhawks (14-5) with 20 points. Ali Jo Whitman scored 17 and Maddy Weeks 12 for Scott.
Bailey Aab led the way for Herbert Hoover (15-3) with 13 points and Hannah King and Caroline Thornburg each added 10.
Logan 88, Winfield 57: Shayna Gore finished just shy of a triple-double with 16 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds and host Logan rolled. Monica Mitchell and Summer Collins each scored 18 points for the Class AAA No. 10 Wildcats (11-6) with Mitchell grabbing 14 rebounds as well. Lexi Hines had 14 points and Kyra Cline 10 for Logan.
Haley Robertson's 20 points led Winfield (8-11) and Karly Rogers scored 10.
Midland 69, George Washington 61: Stephanie Bias scored 11 of her 18 points in overtime to spark visiting Cabell Midland. Haley Haggerty also had 18 points for the Knights (14-4), Sierra Jordan had 12 and Emily Pitkin 11.
For the Patriots (11-7), Alanna Mobayed scored 20 points and Maria Romeo 11.
