St. Albans will play at Cabell Midland tonight, which will determine the other three games.
Currently, the Red Dragons are No. 3 in the West followed by Huntington and the Knights. If St. Albans wins, that order will stay intact, but if Midland wins, the Red Dragons will fall back to fifth while the Highlanders and Knights will each move up a spot.
Regardless, those three teams will be on the road with East No. 3 Capital, No. 4 Woodrow Wilson, and No. 5 Ripley waiting in the fifth-, seventh- and ninth-place games, respectively.
Things are a little clearer on the boys side with 15th-place game (St. Albans at Lincoln County), 13th-place game (Ripley at Cabell Midland), 11th-place game (Princeton at Nitro), and fifth-place game (Capital at Hurricane) all scheduled.
All of these games are scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff Friday with the exception of Princeton at Nitro, which will be played at 7:30 Thursday.
The only matter left to be determined in boys involves Riverside, which will play at Woodrow Wilson at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Warriors are currently No. 4 in the East and would remain there with a win. If Riverside loses, it would flip-flop with No. 5 Parkersburg. West No. 4 Spring Valley awaits the winner while No. 5 Winfield will host the loser.
The Riverside-Woodrow Wilson boys game on Thursday will likely be played after the seventh-place girls game, which the Flying Eagles will likely host at 5:30 p.m.
