Nia Nolan led all scorers with 24 points and added six assists and six rebounds as host WVU Tech picked up its fourth win in a row in a 75-59 victory over Washington Adventist in women's basketball Wednesday evening.
LaKisha Adkins added 11 points and six assists for the Golden Bears (9-12) with Roche Wimberly recording a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.
Ebonie Ellison scored 23 points to lead Washington Adventist (9-17).
MU WOMEN LOSE:
Marshall managed just 21.8 percent shooting as it dropped a 75-36 decision Wednesday night at Middle Tennessee.
McKenzie Akers' seven points led the Thundering Herd (9-16 overall, 2-10 Conference USA), which was outrebounded 51-33 and committed 22 turnovers.
KeKe Stewart led the Blue Raiders (22-4, 11-1) with 19 points with Ebony Rowe adding 14 and Shanice Cason 10.
