Riverside 62, Ripley 48: Brittany Wood turned in a triple-double with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 17 blocks as visiting Riverside defeated Ripley in the Class AAA Region 3 Section 1 tournament. Rachel Mills added 19 points for Riverside (5-14), which advanced to Wednesday's semifinals at No. 6 South Charleston (17-3) at 7 p.m. Chelsey Hager notched 16 points for the Vikings (4-18) and Sarah Williams dropped in 11.
Hurricane 68, Point 26: Abby Watson recorded 25 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists as host Hurricane earned a win in Class AAA Region 4 Section 1. Taneisha Sturdivant chipped in with 10 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks for the Redskins (12-11) with Audrey Barber also contributing 10 points. Charli Leach had 13 points to lead Point Pleasant (0-23). Hurricane will play at St. Albans at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Summers County 70, Wyoming East 57: Brittney Justice poured in 28 points as Summers County earned a Class AA Region 3 Section 1 win. Whittney Justice added 11 points for the Bobcats (19-2). Hayley Butcher scored 13 points for Wyoming East (13-8) while Bri Pertee added 12.
Mingo Central 64, Wayne 34: Tyshira Joplin tallied 15 points as Mingo Central posted a Class AA Region 4, Section 2 home win. Ashley Curry added 13 points for the Miners. Emily Marsh had 14 points for Wayne.
Ritchie 57, Roane 38: Vanessa Talman scored 19 points as Ritchie County posted a Class AA Region 1 Section 2 road win. Cassidy Taylor netted 17 points for Roane County.
Herbert Hoover 80, Ravenswood 59: The host Huskies raced out to a 19-9 lead after the opening quarter and the Red Devils were never able to recover. Matthew Justice netted 26 points for Hoover (5-16) while Tommy Parrish chipped in 17 and Garrett Burgess donated 15. Jake Martin tallied 24 points for Ravenswood (13-8) and Isaac Crow had 19.
Valley 58, Fayetteville 41: Henry Barron-Houchins scored 16 points and Druw Bowen added 12 as Valley (17-3) won on the road. William Dooley had 14 points for Fayetteville.
Logan 68, Greater Beckley Christian 60: Zak Miller netted 23 points as Logan won at home. Trevor Abbott chipped in 16 points for the Wildcats (9-11). Elisha Kidd had a game-high 28 points for Greater Beckley Christian (16-5).
