Moss' daughter scores record 63 points

Sophomore Sydney Moss, daughter of ex-DuPont and NFL great Randy Moss, scored an NCAA Division III-record 63 points over the weekend.

The guard-forward set the record in leading Thomas More to a 106-88 win against fifth-seeded Waynesburg in the semifinals of the Presidents Athletic Conference championship tournament at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Ky.

Moss broke the previous mark of 61 when she made two free throws with 18 seconds to play in the game. The previous record was set by Oberlin's Ann Gilbert when she scored 61 points against Allegheny on Feb. 6, 1991.
