Marshall sets start times for home football games

Marshall football fans can start planning their barbecues and tailgate parties.

Marshall announced Wednesday the kickoff times for all six of its 2009 home games.

Contests against Illinois State on Sept. 5, Southern Miss on Nov. 14 and SMU on Nov. 21 will start at 4:30 p.m.

There will be noon kickoffs against East Carolina on Oct. 3 and against UAB on Oct. 24. The Sept. 19 game against Bowling Green will start at 7 p.m.
