TULSA, Okla. -- Memphis point guard Joe Jackson was named Conference USA's Player of the Year, while Tigers coach Josh Pastner took Coach of the Year honors. Both were announced Wednesday, just before the C-USA tournament began.

Both were instrumental in the Tigers' 16-0 conference season and current No. 17 ranking in the coaches' poll and No. 20 in the Associated Press Top 25. Jackson led the Tigers in scoring (13.8 per game), assists (4.9) and steals (54).

Pastner is 102-33 in four seasons and led the Tigers to an 18-game winning streak this season.
