Conference USA announced Thursday its tie-in with the new Miami Beach Bowl, scheduled to begin in 2014 at Marlins Park.
The league's representative will play a team from the American Athletic Conference in 2014 and 2015. The AAC will own and operate the bowl game, hiring a full-time staff based in Miami.
C-USA is part of three bowls that will begin in 2014. The others are the Bahamas Bowl, where berths will be rotated among five conferences, and the Boca Raton Bowl, in which it is expected to send a team four times out of six from 2014-19.
