Taylor Simmerman pulled the Cougars even with less than two minutes to play with a goal from a Sarah Mangus pass. Mangus and Kallen Prokity also scored for Capital (3-8-3).
Kayla Gillenwater scored two goals for the Red Dragons while Cari Gregg added one.
POCA 2, HOOVER 0: Brooke Hager scored two goals in the final six minutes to lift Poca past host Herbert Hoover.

Megan Johnson scored on a free kick from 60 yards out and Anna Kimberling and Morgan Smith also scored for the Class AAA No. 8 Patriots (12-2-1). Mary Harper collected 11 saves to earn her 10th shutout.

SISSONVILLE 4, MIDLAND 3: Cameron Hughes scored two goals to lead Class AA No. 2-ranked Sissonville over Class AAA No. 3 Cabell Midland at home. Justin Matheny and Ryan Bailey each had a goal and an assist in the second half for the Indians (14-1). Alex Molina netted two goals for the Knights (11-3) while Kyle Ryder scored one.
WOODROW 2, NITRO 1: At Beckley, Derick Law and Jonah Moore scored to put Woodrow Wilson up 2-0 in the first 35 minutes, and goalkeeper Eric Pettijohn had three saves to keep the Wildcats from tying it. Alex Ross scored on a penalty kick for the Wildcats (9-4-1) 10 minutes into the second half. Nico Bowden had two saves.
CAPITAL 4, SA 0: Tyler Dawson scored twice to lead the host Cougars to their first win in 10 games. Daniel Walker and Sean Ferrante chipped in a goal each and Kyle Maner had two assists for Capital (4-6-5), which last won Sept. 8 and had four ties in that span. Chase Vasale, Alex Panger and Nick O'Reilly combined for five stops and the shutout for Capital. For St. Albans (4-8-2), Doyle Mauer had six saves.
GW 2, SC 1: Carter Phillips scored the go-ahead goal eight minutes into the second half on an assist by Adam Younis, giving George Washington a come-from-behind victory. Ethan Kirk scored off a Ross Davis pass with 18 seconds left in the first half to tie it at 1. Mickey Pickens gave South Charleston (2-11) an early lead. Connell Green had two saves for GW (8-5-2).
