George Washington High School standout Dustin Crouser gave a verbal commitment to Charlotte on Sunday night, according to 49erGreen.com.
Crouser ran for 146 yards on 23 carries in GW's opening win over South Charleston on Friday. The 6-foot-3 225-pounder may be used on defense at Charlotte as Crouser had 131 tackles and four sacks as a sophomore and was named a first-team all-state selection after last season.
He also had an offer from Wake Forest and was receiving looks from WVU and Pittsburgh.
