GW to honor 1982 championship team

George Washington will honor its 1982 Class AAA state championship football team on Friday during its home game against Paul Blazer of Ashland (Ohio). Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

A halftime ceremony will mark the 30th anniversary of the Patriots' title - their only state championship in football. Refreshments for members of the 1982 squad will be provided.
