Prep soccer: Myers' second-half goal lifts St. Albans over Capital

Hannah Myers' second-half goal was the difference Wednesday as St. Albans beat Capital 1-0 in girls soccer. The Cougars (3-1) outshot St. Albans (1-1-1) 12-6.

Boys soccer

  • CATHOLIC 2, SC 0: The Irish received goals from Sam Revercomb and Anthony Cipollone in a win over South Charleston.
  • NITRO 7, LINCOLN 0: Matt Miller scored two goals and Corey Tornes, Geoffrey Bevil, Alec Bailey and Austin McKintrick added one apiece for the Wildcats (4-2) in a Tuesday game. The other goal came on a Lincoln County own goal.
