Teran Barnitz led Lewis County's ground game with 85 yards on 14 carries, and Campbell added 59 on 11 attempts. Yates passed for 120 yards.

 

  • TUG VALLEY 34, MOUNT VIEW 28: Mikey Newsome completed 6-of-17 passes for 114 yards and three touchdowns as Tug Valley earned a home win.

    Newsome connected twice with Corey Dillon and once with Aaron Muncy, who had four catches for 93 yards for the Panthers (2-1). Dillon also recovered a fumble in the end zone for a TD.

    Teddy Hazzard went 11-for-22 for 135 yards for Mount View (0-3), connecting twice with Maurice Brown, who had four receptions for 46 yards. Brown also had a 40-yard run for a touchdown.

    | TOLSIA 12, FAIRLAND 9: Dawson Presley scored on a 1-yard run with 54 seconds left in the game as the host Rebels snapped an 18-game losing streak.

    Presley scored earlier in the night on a 40-yard TD in the first quarter to put the Rebels (1-2) on the board first. Fairland answered in the third quarter with a safety after a Tolsia fumble into the end zone, followed by a 40-yard touchdown reception by Kyle Sowards to put the Dragons (2-1) up 9-6.

    The Rebels only allowed 81 yards of offense, but generated 181 yards against Fairland.
