Poca player back home following injury
Advertiser

Tyler Gibson, a Poca junior defensive back who experienced numbness in his leg following an injury in Friday's game at Chapmanville, returned home Sunday.

Dots coach Bob Lemley said Gibson underwent an MRI after the injury, which came when he was struck in the helmet on a play near the sideline.

"He's doing better,'' Lemley said. "He'll be out this week, and it will be up the doctors when to clear him to play.''
