Alec Herell had a 56-yard touchdown run for Symmes Valley (8-2).

  • SPRING VALLEY 62, NITRO 7: Ryan George ran for 76 yards and a touchdown to become Spring Valley's career rushing leader as the Timberwolves downed Nitro at home on senior night.
  • George has rushed for 1,986 yards for Class AAA No. 9 Spring Valley (6-3), a team that amassed 530 rushing yards on the evening. Elijah Wellman carried eight times for 91 yards and two TDs for the home team, and Billy Evans dashed for 119 yards and one touchdown.

    Ethan Clark scored for the Wildcats (2-7) on a 12-yard run in the third quarter.

  • HUNTINGTON 34, RIVERSIDE 0: Huntington quarterback Mark Shaver threw for 126 yards and three touchdowns as the Class AAA No. 3 Highlanders posted a homecoming win over Riverside.
  • Shaver connected twice with Jacob Fraley for touchdowns in the first half and hooked up with Jarod Martin on a 21-yard scoring strike in the fourth quarter. Charles Crawford had nine carries for 113 yards and a TD for the Highlanders (8-1).

    Riverside quarterback Trevor Rumberg, the MSAC's No. 3 passer, finished the day 5 of 13 for 89 yards and was sacked six times. The Warriors dropped to 1-8.

  • TYLER 29, BRAXTON 12: Alex Doak scored three touchdowns, including a 97-yard interception return and a 49-yard punt return, to lead Tyler Consolidated to victory at Braxton County.
  • Doak also caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Hunter Lemasters as Tyler improved to 3-6.

    Braxton County (5-4), which started the night tied for ninth in Class AA, led 12-8 in the first quarter on Jacob Yanero's 1-yard run and Tyler Coleman's 60-yard punt return.

  • VALLEY 14, MIDLAND TRAIL 6: Henry Barron returned a punt 73 yards as Class A No. 9 Valley secured a home win at Martin Field in Montgomery.
  • Darius Hutchinson carried six times for 66 yards and a touchdown for the Greyhounds (8-1). Jacob Grimmett completed 7 of 16 passes for 62 yards and a TD for No. 18 Midland Trail (5-4). He also ran 16 times for 113 yards.

  • CLAY 40, CALHOUN 6: Jordan Lucas ran for a pair of touchdowns as Clay County defeated Calhoun County at home.
  • Clay quarterback Tyler Stewart threw for two touchdowns, including a 13-yard strike to Jimmy Brogan in the first quarter.

    Lucas Wilson had Calhoun County's lone score when he recovered a dropped punt in the end zone in the fourth quarter.

  • ROANE 55, WIRT 42: John Ash ran for 120 yards and four TDs on 22 carries and visiting Roane County rolled up 322 yards on the ground in a shootout win.
  • Luke Scott added 114 yards on 21 carries for the Raiders (6-3), and Hunter Bradley hit on 10 of 16 passes for 130 yards and two scores and ran for another TD. Bradley also carried 15 times for 79 yards. Tyler King had nine catches for 127 yards and a TD.

    For Wirt County (6-3), Josh Trembly ran 17 times for 208 yards and one TD and completed 10 of 20 passes for 231 yards and two more scores. The Tigers ran for 282 yards as a team.
