WIRT 50, BUFFALO 49: Buffalo's Chelsey Parkins had 25 points and 17 rebounds but it was not enough as the Bison missed a last-second attempt to take the lead at home against Wirt County.
Parkins' stellar statistical line was aided by a 13-of-14 performance at the foul line.
For Wirt (3-4), Kayla Keeney had 17 points while Miriam Smith and Liz Adams each scored 10.
NICHOLAS 52, BLUEFIELD 43: Nicholas County trailed by two points at halftime but battled back to win on the road at Bluefield.
For the Grizzlies (6-1), Shealyn Shafer had 15 points and 13 rebounds while teammate Lauren Young finished with 12 points and eight assists.
Sheila Hopkins led Bluefield (4-2) with 11 points and Tara Jackson added 10 for the Beavers.

BRAXTON 47, ROANE 29: Taylor Bragg finished with 16 points and six steals to lead Braxton County (5-2) to the win.Emily Harper added two points and nine rebounds for the Eagles. For Roane, Cassidy Taylor was the leading scorer with 12 points.
