CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Charleston Catholic boys soccer team will be presented with a national ranking trophy Tuesday as part of the inaugural MaxPreps Tour of Champions.

Representatives of the West Virginia National Guard and MaxPreps will present the award at halftime of Catholic's boys basketball game against St. Joseph at the Charleston Catholic Athletic Complex.

The Fighting Irish defeated Fairmont Senior to earn their fourth straight Class AA-A state title in November. Catholic finished with a 23-0-2 record and finished No. 11 in the nation in the final MaxPreps Freeman rankings. MaxPreps, which ranks more than 14,000 high school teams, and the Army National Guard are honoring 20 teams throughout the U.S.
