Girls roundup: South Charleston storms past Ripley 66-25

Bobbie McNabb contributed 19 points, seven rebounds and two blocks for the Warriors (8-4). Tristan Day added 14 points.

Pocahontas will play host to Charleston Catholic at 2 p.m. today.

  • GRACE 68, ELK VALLEY 66: Alex Nelson scored 32 points as Grace Christian eked out a win on the road. Jillian Salyers and Shelby Cicenas scored 12 each for Grace.
  • Chelsea Burdette paced Elk Valley Christian (5-6) with 30 points followed by Hannah Williams with 21 and Katie Burdette with 11.

  • CROSS LANES 52, OHIO VALLEY 23: Cross Lanes Christian built a 16-point first-quarter lead en route to victory at Ohio Valley Christian.
  • Courtney Kendrick led Cross Lanes (9-4) with 22 points and Julianna Lowery added 10. Kathryn Legg led the team with nine rebounds.

    Emily Carman had nine points for Ohio Valley (1-6).

    Thursday's girls game

  • ELK VALLEY 44, TEAYS VALLEY 36: Elk Valley Christian led 36-20 after three quarters and cruised to a road win, led by Chelsea Burdette's 16 points. Gabby Harrah led Teays Valley Christian with 19 points.
