  • SISSONVILLE 66, SCOTT 58: The host Indians hit 23 of 31 foul shots in the second half and ran away with a win. Zach Null led Sissonville (5-9) with 22 points while Trent Stowers had 19 and Anthony Bess 15. Matt Dolan had 22 to pace the Skyhawks (9-5) while Eric May tallied 17.

  • TUG VALLEY 86, MAN 49: Tug Valley jumped out to a 34-7 first-quarter lead and cruised to a home win. Thomas Baisden netted 19 points for the Panthers while Austin Brewer added 17 and Mikey Newsome had 16. Christopher Justice scored 13 points for the Hillbillies.

  • GW 59, WOODROW 29: Rachel Ward scored her 1,000th career point as George Washington topped Woodrow Wilson.

    Ward finished with 23 points for the Patriots (10-4), who outscored the Flying Eagles 22-4 in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach. Kelli Jo Harrison added 21 points and Alanna Mobayed handed out 13 assists for GW. Breanna Thompson led Woodrow with eight points.

     

  • HOOVER 65, WAYNE 23: Herbert Hoover closed out the opening half with a 30-1 run to turn a deficit into a commanding halftime lead. The host Pioneers led 6-3 with about three minutes to go in the first quarter before the Huskies turned it on and seized a 33-7 advantage at the break. Jordan Marshall canned five 3s in a game-high 20 points for Hoover (10-5). Taylor Bartram had seven points for the Pioneers (2-15).

  • TEAYS VALLEY 45, GREATER BECKLEY 17: Olivia Hill, Rachel Kiser and Christa Larue each scored nine points for host Teays Valley Christian. Beka Graham had seven points for Greater Beckley Christian.
