CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Big Atlantic Classic opens with a bang tonight at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.
The weeklong basketball tournament tips off at 7:25 p.m. with a boys Class AA game pitting No. 1-ranked Bluefield against No. 10 Westside. Following that is a Class A boys game between No. 8 Valley and Tygarts Valley.
Play continues Tuesday with the spotlight game being AA No. 3 Wyoming East versus No. 5 Robert C. Byrd at 9 p.m.
Several of the championship games are set for Saturday.
