SC, Bluefield, Catholic boys keep No. 1 ranks

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- All three No. 1 teams held on to their top spots as the boys basketball rankings were released on Monday.

South Charleston, Bluefield and Charleston Catholic remain at No. 1 in Class AAA, AA, and A, respectively, with the Beavers and Irish making their third straight appearance in the top spot.

In Class AAA, Martinsburg moved back ahead of Morgantown for the No. 2 spot while George Washington was No. 9. Poca held on to No. 2 in Class AA followed by No. 3 Wyoming East.

Tug Valley and Tucker County came in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, in Class A while Buffalo moved up a spot to No. 6.
