Broken foot shelves Morgantown's Adrian
Advertiser

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Nathan Adrian of Morgantown, a West Virginia University basketball recruit and one of the state's top players, is sidelined from 6-to-8 weeks with a broken bone in his foot and will likely miss the rest of the season.

The 6-foot-9 Adrian, a returning first-team all-state player, averages about 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Mohigans (12-2), ranked No. 3 in Class AAA.

If Morgantown qualifies for the state tournament (March 13-16 at the Charleston Civic Center), there's an outside chance he could return to competition.
