Chris Turner scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Winfield (8-7), which trailed 21-15 after the first quarter. Bear Bellomy also scored 14 for the Generals.

Angelo Sirianni led the Wildcats (7-8) with 19 points, while Trevon Taylor had 11 and Hunter Ferrari 10.

  • For the Monarchs (4-10), Bryan Davis scored 13 points and Cole Sobutka had 12 points.

  • MOOREFIELD 68, VALLEY 59: Moorefield outscored Valley 26-15 in the fourth quarter to rally for a win at the Big Atlantic Classic in Beckley.
  • For the Yellowjackets (7-7), Garrett Keller had a game-high 18 points while Jared Kite pitched in with 13 points.

  • RICHWOOD 78, SHERMAN 60: Ben Weber had 18 points and Zach Bennett and John Bard each added 16 as host Richwood (6-8) scored a victory over Sherman in an opening-round game of the Hometown Invitational Tournament. For the Tide (5-8), Blake Brewer scored 17 points and Cody Muncy 11.

  • CATHOLIC 54, WAHAMA 31: Samantha Fletcher scored 23 points and Anna Whelan had 12 in the road win for Charleston Catholic (7-11). For Wahama (2-12), Sierra Carmichael finished with 14 points.
  • VALLEY 51, RICHWOOD 47: Alexis Payne poured in 24 points to lead visiting Valley (10-3). Kelsey Bird chipped in with 11 for the Greyhounds. Breanna Mazzella and Hannah Brown each finished with 14 points for Richwood.
  • TOLSIA 64, LINCOLN COUNTY 43: Krista Maynard scored 26 points and grabbed 15 rebounds while Savannah Winnett had 25 points and 12 boards to lead visiting Tolsia (12-3).

  • LOGAN 66, CHAPMANVILLE 36: Shayna Gore scored 28 points to lead Logan (10-4) to the road win. For Chapmanville (8-8), Kristen DesRocher finished with 14 points.
