CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- As of late Friday afternoon, there was no change regarding the boys basketball coaching situation at Riverside.

Dusty Herscher and his staff were suspended indefinitely earlier in the week, with Scott Garretson and Danny Hill taking over as interim coaches for Thursday's game against Woodrow Wilson.

"We haven't received any information yet,'' said Riverside Principal Valery Harper, who is awaiting word from the Kanawha County Schools main office.

Harper was unsure if Superintendent Ron Duerring would follow her recommendations or not on the issue. "That's a very good question,'' she said. "I don't know.''
