CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A pair of new No. 1s emerged in this week's prep boys basketball ratings released Monday.

Martinsburg reclaimed the No. 1 spot in Class AAA, passing South Charleston despite the fact that the Black Eagles didn't lose a game last week. Woodrow Wilson was third followed by Greenbrier East and Parkersburg South. George Washington remained No. 10.

Charleston Catholic relinquished its spot atop the Class A ratings after losing at Tucker County last week. Tug Valley locked up the No. 1 position followed by the Irish, Tucker, Magnolia and Parkersburg Catholic. Buffalo dropped two spots to eighth and Valley remained No. 10.

Bluefield was the only No. 1 to survive as it held onto the top spot in Class AA. Poca rose back up to No. 2 followed Fairmont Senior with Robert C. Byrd and Tolsia tying for fourth.
