Winfield hit 28 of 45 shots from the floor, including 10 for 18 from 3-point range, and defeated visiting St. Albans 72-56 in boys basketball Monday night.
Michael Yost chipped in with 16 points for Class AA No. 1 Bluefield (17-2) followed by Lykel Collier with 13, D.J. Edwards and Corey Coppola with 12 apiece and Matthew Woodrum with 10.
Matt Dolan's 25 points was tops for Scott (11-8). Eric May contributed 17 points for the Skyhawks and Anthony Sigmon 12.
MOUNTAIN MISSION 57, MOUNT VIEW 52: Tedros Hailu Mitiku scored 23 points as visiting Mountain Mission, Va., earned a win at Mount View.
Robel Ali added 14 points and Scott Graham 10 to the winning cause.
Ishmyle Sawyers led Mount View with 18 points and Maurice Brown scored 13.
CLAY 41, ROANE 36: Alex Burkhamer scored a career-high 15 points to lead the visiting Panthers to a revenge victory. Stephen Cole added 13 points for Clay County (10-9).
For the Raiders (13-5), Jacob Neal tallied 10 points. Clay led at halftime 17-15.
