CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Buffalo has made a special addition to its annual senior night for boys basketball.
During Tuesday's 7:30 p.m. home game against Hannan, in addition to its normal festivities, the school will salute Hannan senior player Austin Akers, who is recovering from recent surgery for a brain tumor.
Buffalo will sell "Austin's Army'' T-shirts for $5 and will hold a raffle for a large prize package featuring donated items and services from several area merchants. All proceeds will go to Akers' family to be used toward medical expenses.
