Null added nine assists for the Indians, who will travel to Poca for a sectional semifinal matchup tonight at 7.
"We didn't like where we were but that's how you played your season and that's where we were," Sissonville coach Rich Skeen said of Monday's win. "It was good to get this one under our belt. We play Poca [tonight] so there's no time to rest, but maybe that's a good thing."
Trent Stowers, who reached the 1,000-point milestone last Tuesday, added 15 points for the Indians (9-14) and Ryan Kelley scored 12.
Stephen Cole led the way with 20 points for Clay County and Storm Carver chipped in with 13.
The Dots own a pair of wins over Sissonville this season, but in a one-and-done format the slates are for all intents and purposes wiped clean.
"It's Poca-Sissonville and we always get their best game regardless of circumstances," Skeen said. "At this point in the season you can throw everything out the window regardless of what happened in the regular season. Both teams are 0-0 right now, the winner moves on and the loser's season is over."
POINT 67, SA 53: Dillon McCarty netted 21 points as Point Pleasant downed visiting St. Albans in a Class AAA Region 4 Section 1 contest.
Alex Somerville chipped in 14 points for the Big Blacks (13-10) while Wade Martin had 13. Nathan McNeil paced the Red Dragons with 18 points.
Point Pleasant will travel to Hurricane to face the Redskins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
CABELL MIDLAND 74, LINCOLN COUNTY 47: Stephen Matthews netted 22 points as Cabell Midland earned a Class AAA Region 4 Section 2 win at Huntington High School.
Schylar Kelly posted a team-high 13 points for Lincoln County.
Cabell Midland will travel to Huntington to play the Highlanders Wednesday at 8 p.m.
