  • GREEN. EAST 65, PRINCETON 58: Rondale Watson scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Obi Romeo finished with 11 points and 18 boards to lead Class AAA No. 8 Greenbrier East in Region 3 Section 2 at the Brushfork Armory near Bluefield.
  • Bryce Woodliff added 12 points for the Spartans (20-3). For Princeton (17-6), Ryan Meadows had 26 points.

  • PARK. SOUTH 64, PARKERSBURG 62: Doug Dennis took a pass from Cody Monroe and sank a shot from the foul line as time expired to lift Parkersburg South past rival Parkersburg in AAA Region 1 Section 1.
  • Dennis finished with 23 points to lead the Patriots. For the Big Reds (8-15), Trevor Britton had 23 points and Ben Umpleby 16. South hosts Wheeling Park for the sectional crown Friday.

    Tuesday's boys game

  • GREATER BECKLEY 76, SHERMAN 56: Javonne Staunton-Bailey had 23 points and Keith Mullins 21 as host Greater Beckley Christian (18-4) hit 12 3-pointers in taking the Class A Region 3 Section 1 semifinal. For the Tide (8-14), Cody Muncy scored 15 points, Corey Smith 14, Blake Brewer 10 and Braden Harrah 10.
  • Girls regionals

  • CLAY 74, TOLSIA 57 Seven different players scored in the first quarter as the visiting Panthers raced out to a 27-8 lead and never looked back in the AA Region 4 co-final.
  • McKinzee Barker netted 20 points to lead four players in double figures for Clay (18-6), which advanced to next week's state tournament. The Panthers' Brittany Gould netted 17 points, Payton Lucas 11 and Katelyn Horrocks 10. Jordan Presley poured in 37 points for the Rebels (21-4), Krista Maynard pitched in 16 and Savannah Winnett 10.

  • NICHOLAS 39, SCOTT 29: Shealyn Shafer scored 16 points and the host Grizzlies (20-3) rallied from a first-quarter deficit to defeat Scott in the AA Region 4 co-final and advance to the state tournament. Jessy Blankship led the Skyhawks with seven points.
  • WESTSIDE 68, BLUEFIELD 24: Hope Lester led all scorers with 27 points as Westside (23-1) beat Bluefield for the Class AA Region 3 co-championship. Shelia Hopkins was the leading scorer for the Beavers (12-12) with seven points.
