Westside, No. 1 in the final Associated Press poll, will play No. 8 PikeView at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Civic Center. Also Thursday, No. 2 Bridgeport will take on No. 7 Lincoln at 1 p.m. while No. 3 Nicholas County squares off with No. 6 North Marion at 9:30 a.m. and No. 4 Clay County and No. 5 Fairmont Senior play at 9 p.m.
The Nicholas-North Marion winner faces the Bridgeport-Lincoln winner at 11:15 a.m. next Friday in the semifinals and the Westside-PikeView winner plays the Clay-Fairmont Senior winner at 7:15 p.m. The state title game is 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 9. (See Page 2B for pairings.)
The Class AAA and Class A seeds will be released today.
