She was asked if it was her best game ever.
"As far as scoring," she said with a smile.
One could badger her. The most she would say was "it's up there." But it didn't matter. The 5-foot-7 senior badgered the Grizzlies the entire game to push the Indians into today's 2:30 p.m. title game against top-seeded Westside.
It's the second year in a row that Bridgeport has reached the championship round. The Indians lost to Greenbrier East 52-47 in the 2012 Class AAA final, and Glenn was named to the all-tournament team as a junior.
"I've been fortunate and blessed to watch her all year," Bridgeport coach Dave Marshall said of Glenn, who is getting recruiting looks from the University of Charleston, West Virginia State, Eastern Kentucky and California (Pa.). "It was another day at the office. If she's not the best player in the state for her team and best player then, wow, I'd like to see who is."
Glenn broke the AA record of 37 points, which had been shared by Missy Spangler of Ritchie County (2001) and Makenzie White of Scott (2011). Glenn also set the AA tournament free-throw record when she converted with 2:11 remaining to surpass the 34 made by Summers County's Jolysa Brown in 2008. She's now made 36.
"I do what I know how to do," Glenn said. "That's get to the free-throw line."
Glenn converted 11 of 17 field goal attempts on Friday and 17 of 18 free throws. She's six free-throw attempts away from tying Brown's Class AA record of 47.
"She's a really good player," said Nicholas County's 5-foot Mykenzie Martin, who was charged with guarding Glenn. "It's hard to guard her. I tried my best, but she's probably the best player in the state."

At the game's outset, Nicholas seemed to have an answer. Shealyn Shafer, a 5-11 senior center, scored her team's first eight points, while Glenn scored seven. At the end of the first quarter, the game was tied at 8.
Glenn, however, led her team's second-quarter surge and finished the half with 19 points and five rebounds to Shafer's 10 and six. Nicholas stayed close through the third quarter, but the Indians stretched the lead to 16 in the fourth when Tori Coulter hit a free throw at 3:43. Bridgeport was never headed afterward.
"Today Miki Glenn and Shealyn Shafer both represented their schools well," said Nicholas County coach Tom McGirl. "We just didn't do a good job pinching [Glenn's] penetration and she's obviously a good free-throw shooter."
Hope Chalfant had 11 points for the 24-2 victors, including a 3-of-5 performance beyond the 3-point arc.
"I knew [Glenn] would get me open," Chalfant said. "She shares like crazy. I just needed to get my feet set."
Shafer finished with 26 points for Nicholas, which finished the season at 21-4. The Grizzlies outrebounded the Indians 31-22, but shot just 31.7 percent from the field to Bridgeport's 50 percent. Nicholas County actually had more free throw attempts (28-27) than the victors.
