Austin Thomas clouted a two-run home run to highlight a six-run first inning as host Herbert Hoover downed Wayne 13-2 in five innings.
The Pioneers scored two runs in the top of the first for a 2-0 edge, but it was short-lived as the Huskies erupted for six in the bottom of the frame.
Thomas finished 2 for 2 with three RBIs while Sean Craze rapped out three hits and drove in four runs and Ryan Shamblin had two hits and two RBIs for the Huskies (21-1), who pounded out 15 hits. Zack Cassidy went 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI for Wayne.
Riverside's Tyler Hall then struck out the side in the top of the seventh to preserve the win. Hall fanned 12 and scattered five singles in the complete-game effort.
Brady Wilkinson went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Warriors (9-12). Brandon Wright had two hits for the Generals and Bear Bellomy drove in a run.
Jonathan Pauley knocked in a pair of runs for the Black Eagles and Jacob Marler banged out three hits and drove in a run.
