The Vikings led 2-1 going into the bottom of the frame after scoring a run on an error. Jefferson, though, scored on an error to knot the game at 2-all then Alexandria Witt, who allowed two hits and struck out six, singled in the winning run with two outs. The Vikings' Chelsea Hager fanned 10 and singled.
Delancey went 4 for 4 with a triple, home run and four runs scored for the Rebels and Cassidy Ray rapped out three hits, including two doubles and a round-tripper. Cheyenne Earle singled for Petersburg.
Wickline fanned the side in the bottom of the seventh to seal the deal. Samantha Ferguson pounded out two hits for the Mavericks, who were making their first appearance at states in 16 seasons. Earle had an RBI for the Vikings and Kaitlyn Keplinger doubled.
Cassidy McCord singled in two runs in the sixth for the Maroon Knights, who have won the most titles of any team in any class with nine. Emilee Osborne laced two hits and drove in a run for Man.
Beth Cook singled in a run to tie the game at 2-all. Riggleman and Cook finished with two hits apiece and Danica Rogers whiffed eight for Moorefield. Kelly Grimmett went 2 for 4 for the Hillbillies.
